Muscat: According to the latest weather maps and numerical forecasts, this low-pressure system is expected to affect the Sultanate of Oman beginning Friday evening. Forecasters point to a high likelihood of clouds flowing in and scattered rain falling over Musandam Governorate and along parts of the Sea of Oman’s coastline.
Officials also note that conditions will remain cloudy to partly cloudy across the northern governorates, with rain showers possibly spreading into surrounding areas.
