Muscat: The authority is actively monitoring markets, coordinating with commercial centers, and reinforcing consumer education to align with Ramadan spending habits.

A key initiative includes collaboration with major commercial centers to roll out the highly sought-after Ramadan Basket—a cost-effective package of essential food items. This year, the Ramadan basket comprises 17 to 19 staple products, priced at no more than RO 10.

With the launch already underway in several governorates, retailers are witnessing strong demand for the Ramadan basket, a trend observed in previous years. Its economic appeal and convenience make it a preferred choice, helping families balance their budgets while securing essential supplies.
