MUSCAT : Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mansoor Talib Al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation, Be’ah signed the memorandum with Raysut Cement Company and German engineering firm MVW Lechtenberg & Partner.
The agreement aims to evaluate the feasibility of the refuse-derived fuel (RDF) production project and develop a sustainable business model for all stakeholders, contributing to reducing waste and promoting the use of alternative energy in the heavy industries sector.
This project is expected to radically transform the waste management sector in the Sultanate of Oman. It will be a fundamental pillar in promoting environmental sustainability and drive development.
The project aligns with Oman’s ongoing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and establishing circular economy practices, which are key to ensuring long-term environmental sustainability.
