Muscat – The meeting, held as part of their ongoing visit to Oman, highlighted the historical significance of Chinese explorer Zheng He’s travels to Oman 600 years ago.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the importance of building upon these historical ties to strengthen the enduring friendship between Oman, the Republic of Singapore (headquarters of the association), and the People’s Republic of China (Zheng He’s homeland).
The discussions emphasized the desire to further enhance cooperation in various fields to serve mutual interests.
Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosani, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended the meeting.
