Oman’s Tender Board awards projects worth RO 145 million

The Tender Board, at its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, February 5, awarded a number of tenders and additional works complementing development projects to the tune of RO 145,274,094.

Muscat – The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Tender Board.

Major endorsed works include the design and construction of 20 integrated buildings, valued at RO 39,711,95, for schools in different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman; establishment of a multi-purpose port in the Wilayat of Masirah in the South A’Sharqiyah Governorate at a cost of RO 28,612,449; and an agreement to grant Microsoft software licenses to some government institutions, worth RO 21,580,376, for a period of three years.
