MUSCAT : The Oman Astronomical Society (OAS) has highlighted this beautiful astronomical event, which will be visible to the naked eye shortly after sunset.
The moon will appear in close proximity to Jupiter, the second-brightest planet in the sky after Venus, creating a dazzling sight for observers. Alongside this, the Pleiades cluster, known as the Seven Sisters, will add a sparkling touch to the celestial show, with its distinct blue stars creating an unforgettable scene.
This rare event offers a perfect opportunity for skywatchers and astronomers alike to enjoy the beauty of the night sky.
