Muscat – This first-of-its-kind project in Oman represents a significant investment in the island’s infrastructure, with a total estimated cost of approximately RO 72 million.
This groundbreaking project, held under the auspices of His Excellency Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, involves the construction of a 132/33 kilovolt station and a set of overhead and ground transmission lines and marine cables extending over a total distance of about 94 kilometres. It will connect Masirah station and Mahout station through a 400/132 kilovolts power line.
