Muscat Governorate highlights walkways in Amerat

The Muscat Governorate has highlighted the development of new walkways in the Al Amerat area, enhancing the infrastructure for both pedestrians and cyclists.

Muscat – The walkways in Amerat aim to provide residents and visitors with better access to recreational spaces while promoting an active lifestyle.

Among the featured walkways are:

Al Mahaj Walkway: This 1,700-meter long walkway spans 17,000 square meters and includes a 4-meter wide walking path and a separate 4-meter wide bicycle track. The surface is asphalt, providing a smooth and even surface for users.
Phase 5 Walkway: This walkway offers a total area of 9,600 square meters, with each of its tracks stretching 800 meters in length. Each track is 6 meters wide and constructed with interlocking tiles.
Phase 4 Walkway: Covering 12,000 square meters, this walkway stretches 1,200 meters in length. The pedestrian walkway is 5 meters wide, while the accompanying bicycle track measures 3 meters. This walkway also utilizes an interlock surface.
