MUSCAT: The data highlights that industrial projects remained the biggest consumer of natural gas, accounting for 51.3% of total usage, with 29.05 billion cubic meters allocated to the sector.
In terms of overall consumption, oil fields utilized 12.13 billion cubic meters, power generation stations consumed 15.11 billion cubic meters, and industrial areas accounted for 251.4 million cubic meters.
Breaking down production, non-associated gas, including imports, amounted to 44.93 billion cubic meters, while associated gas production contributed 11.62 billion cubic meters to the total.
