MUSCAT : The Ministry emphasized the importance of placing tourism licenses in a visible spot at the reception desk of hotel establishments. The same applies to their websites and social media platforms, ensuring transparency for guests and compliance with Articles 20 and 21 of the Executive Regulations of the Tourism Law.
This call comes after routine inspections revealed that some hotels failed to meet this requirement regardless of their category. The Ministry reiterated that adherence to these regulations is crucial to uphold quality standards in Oman’s hospitality sector.
Hotel operators are urged to act immediately to align with the guidelines and avoid legal measures.
