Muscat – During the ongoing media meeting, His Excellency Eng. Khamis bin Mohammed Al-Shamakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, addressed queries regarding the traffic situation in the city. He highlighted the ministry’s ongoing efforts to tackle the issue, explaining that a dedicated team is specifically focused on traffic congestion in Muscat Governorate.
He pointed out that road expansion projects are among the key initiatives being pursued and are expected to alleviate some of the congestion problems. The Ministry is hopeful that these projects, combined with other traffic management measures, will improve the flow of traffic in Muscat.
