SMEs Development Authority announces program to help level up local suppliers in Oman

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority has announced the registration for the sixth batch of the Supplier Development Program, aimed at empowering local suppliers.

MUSCAT : The Supplier Development Program is designed to enhance the potential of SMEs as key contributors to Oman’s economy. The initiative focuses on increasing opportunities for small and medium businesses to secure contracts, services, and other business ventures by equipping them with the necessary skills and resources.

Targeting SMEs specializing in supplies, public services, IT and communications, contracting, and construction activities—including air conditioning, refrigeration, safety, electrical, and electromechanical maintenance—the program aims to refine their ability to deliver quality work in their respective fields.

Program Details:

Duration: One month
Location: Muscat Governorate
Eligibility: SMEs with licensed activities in the mentioned fields are encouraged to apply, with priority given to those holding an entrepreneurship card.

Requirements:

Updated company profile.
Commitment to the training.
Participation by two representatives (owner and an Omani employee).
