Oman’s transport ministry launches tender for government tech stack strategy

The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has launched a tender for providing specialized consultations to develop strategy and roadmap for Omani government Tech Stack.

MUSCAT : The initiative focuses on evaluating the current state of Information Technology and Communication infrastructure within the government sector and creating a comprehensive plan for enhancing it.

The primary objectives of the project include developing procedures and business models that utilize IT and communication technologies to support the achievement of Oman’s national digital transformation goals. Additionally, the consultation will propose a national strategy and roadmap to modernize the government’s digital infrastructure, ensuring alignment with future technological advancements.

The tender was officially launched on December 30, 2024, and the last date to purchase the tender document is set for January 12, 2025. The tender will close on February 9, 2025.
