MUSCAT : The “Rawafed Cultural Team” is organizing a scientific and intellectual symposium titled “Sheikh Nabhan bin Saif Al-Ma’amari: His Life and Thought” under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al-Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Al-Ma’ali Hall in the Wilayat of Al-Musannah.
The symposium will feature a select group of academics and researchers who will discuss Sheikh Nabhan bin Saif Al-Ma’amari’s journey from various perspectives, shedding light on his scholarly life and his reformative and social contributions.
The event will include several sessions with various research papers.

- Dr. Saleh bin Rashid Al-Ma’amari will present a paper on “Sheikh Nabhan: His Life and Academic Journey.”
- Dr. Talib bin Ali Al-Sa’adi will discuss “The General Features of His Scientific and Educational Methodology.”
- Dr. Hamid bin Saif Al-Nofali will delve into “A Reading in Sheikh Nabhan’s Biography: Travels as a Model.”
- Second Session:
- Mr. Fahd bin Ali Al-Sa’adi will offer a descriptive and analytical paper on Sheikh Nabhan’s library.
- Dr. Hamid bin Mihna Al-Ma’amari will address the linguistic aspects of Sheikh Nabhan’s writings and speeches.
- Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Nofali will highlight Sheikh Nabhan’s reformative and social roles.
The symposium will conclude with a tour of the accompanying exhibition, which features the books, manuscripts, and personal belongings of Sheikh Nabhan. A dedicated space will be allocated for women to ensure inclusive participation.
