DUBAI : Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) proudly participated in the distinguished Arab Universities Summit held in Dubai on December 4-5, 2024. The summit focused on addressing regional challenges through research, innovation, and cross-sector partnerships, with an emphasis on applying education to societal and environmental needs. It gathered thought leaders from academia, government, and industry to discuss how higher education can contribute to sustainable development in the Arab world.

Representing MCBS at the summit were Ms. Aisha Al Kharusi, Deputy Executive Chair, Professor Rami Oweis, Vice Chairman for Institutional Excellence and Advancement, and Dr. Said Al-Kitani, Associate Dean for Community Outreach. Their participation highlighted MCBS’s commitment to advancing higher education and contributing to global discussions on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.

Notably, MCBS entered the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking in 2024, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey. The Times Higher Education Global University Impact Ranking evaluates universities based on their contributions to addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education, gender equality, climate action, and sustainable cities and communities.
