MUSCAT: “Oman needs every individual to be part of the nation-building process”, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik said during his visit to Sultan Faisal bin Turki school for Boys in Wilayat Al Amerat on Monday.
Addressing the students, teachers and officials, His Majesty stressed his keenness to provide the schools built over the past 3 or 4 years with the latest facilities. He pointed out that education nowadays is not as traditional as it used to be, but rather there is a real activity characterized by competition and innovation that emanate from the student’s knowledge of modern technologies.
His Majesty the Sultan affirmed that what he saw during the visit stems from the Royal keenness, which envisages “exemplary schools in the future”. In this context, he observed that “the youth and students we saw and heard from are promising. Oman needs every individual to be part of the nation-building process.”

“What we see today in our schools is what we were talking about 10 years ago, with old schools to be restored to accommodate all these capabilities which capitalize on modern technologies in education,” said His Majesty.
His Majesty wished success for those working in the education sector, advising them to consider the students as their own offspring. His Majesty added that everything we wish to achieve for our own children must be imparted to our students in the classrooms.
