MUSCAT : The ministry, represented by its Directorate General of Private Training Institutions, has introduced the document which aligns with the standards set by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.
The adoption of the private training quality document is set to serve as a key framework for assessing the performance of private training institutions. The evaluation and classification process will focus on several established standards and indicators, with the primary goal of enhancing the quality of training programs and institutional operations.
The Ministry emphasised that the new system will help raise the efficiency of both the institutional and programmatic aspects of training, ultimately improving the overall quality of services provided by private training providers.
The application of the document, including the new evaluation and classification mechanisms, is set to begin in January 2025.
