MUSCAT : The Ministry, represented by Investment Services Center, has stated that it will no longer be accepting economic feasibility studies for investment licence applications from various auditing and economic consulting offices in an effort to enhance investment licence applications and decrease fraudulent ones.
This is based on Article (8) of the Foreign Capital Investment Law’s Executive Regulations, which states that in order to acquire an investment licence, the investor must submit an economic feasibility assessment for the project.
The centre emphasises how important it is for all offices to submit accurate and practical feasibility studies since a thorough examination will be carried out on a regular basis to guarantee the calibre and effectiveness of the studies produced.
