“The scenes of bombing, destruction and genocide that residential neighborhoods, health and educational facilities and basic infrastructure are being subjected to exceed all standards of humanity, and call for joint action to open unrestricted corridors that enable the delivery of necessary relief,” he said.
Sayyid Badr explained that the effects of “this tragic situation in occupied Palestine and Lebanon have extended to include a dangerous escalation in other regions of the Middle East, which threatens regional stability as a whole.”
Sayyid Badr also affirmed Oman’s position “which calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and a halt to Israel’s hostile operations in Lebanon. We stress the need to conduct an independent international investigation into the repeated violations.” “There is no way to peace and stability except through political solutions based on respecting the rights of peoples and preserving the sovereignty of states,” he added.
