Muscat – This recall is due to concerns that the lithium cell components in the affected chargers may overheat, posing a potential safety risk to consumers.
The recall campaign was launched to protect consumers, and the CPA is urging all buyers of the affected chargers to take immediate action. Consumers can verify whether their charger is part of the recall by visiting the official recall website on the Consumer Protection Authority’s electronic portal at http://recall.pacp.gov.om.
The faulty chargers, which were sold in Oman, are at risk of overheating, which could potentially lead to damage or injury. In response, Aamal Company has committed to compensating affected customers. Consumers can choose to receive a full refund or store credit for the value of the charger.
