MUSCAT : Held from November 3 to 6, this year’s forum marked the largest gathering of its kind since the IFSWF was established in 2009.
The delegates conveyed their appreciation in an official cable, acknowledging the exceptional efforts of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) in making the event a success. Described as the most content-rich session to date, the forum highlighted Oman’s strides in governance, sustainability, and transparency—areas in which the OIA has set high standards in alignment with the Santiago Principles, the cornerstone of the forum’s values.
Attendees praised the OIA’s collaborative approach with other sovereign wealth funds, recognizing its role in fostering partnerships and supporting best practices. Government institutions across Oman were also commended for their commitment to ensuring the smooth execution of the meeting’s activities.
