23 new judges sworn in at Oman’s Supreme Court

Twenty-three newly appointed judges took their legal oath at the Supreme Court before the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.

MUSCAT : 23 new judges were sworn in today at the Supreme Court, in a ceremony presided over by His Excellency Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.

During the event, His Excellency Sayyid Al Busaidi highlighted the importance of integrating new judges into the Supreme Court as part of a broader strategy to keep pace with global legal advancements. He emphasized that this development aligns with Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to refine the governance of the judiciary and create a robust legal framework. The goal is to uphold the highest standards of justice, integrity, and transparency, thereby fostering an effective judicial system.
