MUSCAT : The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar, Chairman of the Turkish Higher Education Council.
The agreement, signed in Ankara, focuses on various initiatives including the exchange of scholarships and academic grants, mutual recognition of higher education institutions, and the transfer of knowledge and technology.
The memorandum outlines plan to explore collaborative experiences in establishing research and innovation programs, developing capabilities in the labour market, and investing in technological advancements. Both sides agreed to increase the number of scholarships and student exchanges, promote the teaching of Arabic and Turkish, and organise the Omani-Turkish Knowledge Dialogue Forum in Muscat.
