NEW YORK: The agreement was formalized by His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Suriname.
The signing took place at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York, marking a significant step towards fostering deeper bilateral ties between the two nations. Both ministers emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in the economic, trade, and scientific fields, highlighting mutual benefits in exchanging expertise.
During the meeting, the two ministers also discussed avenues for greater collaboration within international organizations, underlining the importance of unified efforts and intensified consultations to promote global peace and security.
