Muscat: The consumer initially contracted the construction company to build his house, but the project soon encountered significant delays, and errors began to surface. He lodged a complaint, seeking compensation for the construction faults.

The Consumer Protection Authority of Oman helped resolve the dispute amicably. The Authority facilitated the negotiation process, leading to a settlement that awarded the consumer RO 4,000 in compensation.
