- Asian Games Men’s Football in Busan, South Korea-2002
- Qualification for the AFC Asian Cup – September 2003
- Qualification for the AFC Asian Cup finals scheduled in China in 2004-2003 (Muscat)
- A series of international friendly matches
The last time the two sides met was in the AFC Asian Cup 2015.
