Muscat – The Oman Football Association (OFA) has issued a statement to highlight that the exemption applies to both land and air travel from September 2 to 5, 2024.
In a statement issued to announce the news, the OFA stated: “With reference to the statement issued by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Baghdad, we would like to inform the fans of our national team wishing to attend the Asian qualifiers match for the 2026 World Cup finals, against the Iraqi national team, on the fifth of this September, that the fans have been exempted from entry visa fees to Iraq for those arriving by land and air to Basra; the exemption applies from September 2 to 5.”
