According to an official from Saud Bahwan Group, “BYD has gained an impressive fan base since its reveal at the Oman Sustainability Week 2024. Owing to its range of advanced features, technologies and performance capabilities, BYD’s latest range of EVs have made a successful impact on customers here in Oman.”
Speaking about the plans for BYD in Oman he said, “Saud Bahwan Group is in the process of setting up full-fledged facilities for BYD at multiple locations. These facilities are designed to offer enthusiasts multiple insights into BYD’s initiatives in the automotive world and its contributions to harnessing the power of alternate energy. Customers visiting these facilities are sure to immerse themselves in an entirely new dimension of automotive experiences. These facilities will soon be open to automotive enthusiasts.”
As part of BYD’s dynamic line-up in Oman, it introduced the BYD ATTO 3, an electric SUV boasting 201 HP and a range of approximately 420 km (as per standard test conditions). Packed with features like the BYD blade battery, panoramic sunroof and advanced safety systems, the ATTO 3 promises both performance and comfort.
Meanwhile, the SEAL electric Sport AWD Sedan, equipped with 523 HP, 0-100 km/h speed in 3.8 seconds and a range of approximately 520 km (as per standard test conditions), dazzled with its luxurious amenities and cutting-edge technology, including a 15.6-inch rotating advanced multi-media screen, multi-colour ambient cabin lighting, a head-up display and adaptive cruise control.
The HAN electric luxury AWD sedan, with its impressive 509 HP, 0-100 km/h speed in 3.9 seconds, and approximately 521 km range (as per standard test conditions), offered attendees a glimpse into the future of automotive luxury, boasting features like a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, luxury leather upholstery with seat ventilation and heater and automatic emergency braking.
Another addition to the SUV line-up, the SONG PLUS electric plug-in hybrid SUV showcased versatility with its combination of 128 HP petrol and 201 HP electric motor, promising approximately 1000 km of combined range (as per standard test conditions). With features like a lithium-ion phosphate battery, a 360-degree camera, and an integrated power braking system, the SONG PLUS exemplifies BYD’s commitment to innovation.
BYD’s Qin PLUS DM-i hybrid vehicle is equipped with the latest dual-mode system. Utilizing the power of a hybrid, it delivers a combination of 108 HP petrol and 194 HP electric motor and reaches 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 7.3 seconds (as per standard test conditions). The system integrates engine, motor and power battery delivering key performance factors such as power, economy and NVH. Users can experience EV/HEV driving by switching between ECO/NORMAL/SPORT working modes. The 12V power battery provides electric energy for the motor with self-charge capability, delivering approximately 1245 KMS on a full charged battery.
