MUSCAT : Flights to Mumbai will commence on September 2, 2024, with four weekly services, while Bengaluru flights will start on September 6, 2024, with two weekly operations.
Introductory ticket prices under the ‘Light Fare’ category begin at RO 19 for Mumbai and RO 33 for Bengaluru, including 7kg hand luggage.
SalamAir’s CEO, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, expressed the airline’s commitment to the Indian market and its alignment with Oman Vision 2040. He highlighted the airline’s overall expansion, including increased capacity to Salalah for the Khareef season and new routes to Sohar, Fujairah, Baghdad, and Bahrain.
This expansion brings the airline’s total Indian destinations to eight – including Delhi, Calicut, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Hyderabad – catering to the increasing travel demand between India, Oman, and the GCC region.
