Muscat: Salalah Free Zone has signed a $1.3 million agreement to launch a cutting-edge tire recycling project. Spanning 8,000 square meters, this initiative aims to drastically reduce waste and carbon emissions while aligning with Oman’s ambitious net-zero goal.
The project will focus on recycling local tires and exporting 20,000 tons of rubber and steel annually.
