KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait on Monday said it would lift a visa ban on domestic workers from the Philippines after a year-long suspension that was sparked by a row over the rights.
The announcement was made by Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior on Sunday on X.
The decision comes after a bilateral meeting between Kuwait’s Minister of Defence and the Minister of the Interior, and the Deputy Minister of Migrant Labor of the Philippines.
