Muscat – This progress surpasses the targets set for Oman Vision 2040, which aimed for a 30th ranking by 2030 and 20th by 2040.
Since 2016, when Oman was ranked 99th, the Sultanate has shown continuous improvement, reflecting the dedicated efforts to support and empower its youth. It has moved from 52nd ranking in 2020 to 33rd in the current report.
This leap in the rankings is a testament to Oman’s commitment to developing effective and sustainable policies and programs that enable young people to participate actively in various fields and contribute to the nation’s growth.
“We are proud of this great progress, which reflects the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to support youth and enable them to participate effectively in various fields and develop effective and sustainable policies and programs to build a better future for our youth,” stated Oman’s Youth Centre announcement.
