Muscat – The ROP mobile application provides a comprehensive platform for inquiring and paying local or Gulf traffic and municipal violations registered to citizens, residents, organizations, and companies. Users can download violation reports, search by service category and period, and view e-payment history.

The app enables users to check violations associated with a specific vehicle, ensuring the owner’s data matches the vehicle’s data. For inquiries about violations by individuals, organizations, or companies, users must specify the ID type before entering the ID number. Additionally, violations registered on a vehicle owned by heirs can be accessed using an institution number issued by the traffic directorate.

The service displays up to 100 violations at a time, with a note for any excess. Serious violations, such as running a red light, require a visit to a police station and can be viewed by downloading the violations report through the app.
Motorists can now view images captured during traffic violations directly through the app. This added transparency allows users to understand the nature of the offense.
The updated app streamlines the vehicle registration process, enabling users to submit requests electronically.
A new fingerprint login option offers a more secure and convenient way to access the app.
The app continues to provide a range of functionalities for managing traffic and municipal violations, including inquiry and payment options for local and Gulf traffic violations, as well as municipal violations, access for citizens, residents, organizations, and companies, advanced search by service category and period for violation reports, downloadable violation reports with e-payment history, inquiry by specific vehicle, person, organization, or company (with appropriate ID details), ability to inquire about violations for vehicles owned by heirs, using the designated institution number.
The app currently displays a maximum of 100 violations at a time. Users exceeding this limit will see a notification and need to use the service again for a complete list. Additionally, serious violations requiring police station attendance, such as running red lights, are not viewable through the app but can be accessed via downloaded violation reports.
