Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman’s analysis also highlighted a 3.6 percent growth in credit granted to the private sector, totaling RO 25.9 billion.
The distribution of this credit among various sectors showed that non-financial companies held the largest share at 45.4 percent. The individuals sector followed closely with 45.0 percent. Financial companies accounted for 5.8 percent, and other sectors made up the remaining 3.8 percent.
- Credit Growth: The overall credit balance increased to RO 30.8 billion, with significant growth in private sector credit reaching RO 25.9 billion.

In addition to credit growth, the banking sector saw a substantial rise in total deposits, which grew by 11.7 percent to RO 30.3 billion. Private sector deposits specifically increased by 13.7 percent, reaching 20.2 billion Omani riyals.
