MUSCAT : BankDhofar is organizing the Omani Women’s Leadership Forum at Al Bustan Palace Ritz-Carlton Hotel on 8th of May. The event is held under the patronage of Al Sayyida Maani bint Abdullah Al Busaidi, Director General of Family Development and President of the Child Protection Committee at the Ministry of Social Development, in line with supporting the government’s directions aimed at empowering Omani women in various sectors, especially the economic and the financial sectors.

The forum will address several topics, like women in financial sector, Diversity and inclusion at work place, as well as guiding women on how to develop their talent and enhance skills to transform them into projects on the ground with optimal utilization of media to promote their brand or project.

Ms.Céline Schillinger , a global Engagement Influencer, I is a prominent speakers at the forum. She is one of the leading women in France who was awarded the National Order of Merit by the French government for her innovative initiatives in the business world. Ms.Schillinger, a TEDx speaker currently works as a consultant in leading organisation, enabling institutional transformation, and enhancing the value of work. She has written a book on engagement Leadership, which was published in 2022.

BankDhofar supports government initiatives and directions that are in line with Oman Vision 2040, especially in the employment field and digital transformation, as the bank contributed to providing job opportunities for citizens, and was able to employ more than 250 Omani Talents in recent months, which contributed to raising the Omanisation rate to 92%

As for the digital transformation sector, the bank is constantly investing in digital transformation and technology to enrich the banking experience for customers and provide them with the best services. It has expanded its digital channels by providing customers with the opportunity to open bank accounts through smart phones and other digital channels, which enable them to complete their banking transactions with complete ease. Easily and conveniently at the right time and place, which led to an increase in the total number of transactions via digital channels in 2023 by about 85.5%, in addition to an increase in the value of completed transactions by 55.3%.
