MUSCAT : According to Al Jabriya, heavy rainfall is expected to be concentrated primarily over the governorates of Musandam, Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, and North Al Batinah during the afternoon. Later in the day, heavy rains are forecasted to extend to include the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah, and North Al Sharqiyah.
She also emphasized that the chances of thunderstorm rain will persist into tomorrow, Wednesday, across all governorates of the Sultanate. However, she noted that the effects of the depression are expected to gradually decline starting tomorrow evening and into Thursday morning.
