MUSCAT: In a recent annual conference themed “A Renewed Labour Market and Governated Labour Sectors,” the Ministry of Labour provided insights into its achievements throughout 2023, outlined targets and plans for the current year, and introduced programs aimed at bolstering job and employment prospects.
One of the focal points of the conference was the Ministry’s dedication to enhancing service quality through various initiatives. This includes the activation of a database specifically designed for balancing electronic jobs, a move aimed at modernizing and streamlining job allocation processes.
A notable emphasis was placed on digitization, with His Excellency Professor Baawain revealing that a remarkable 75 percent of the Ministry’s services are now digitized.
