Muscat: Eng. Abdulqadir Salim Al Balushi, the Director General of Raysut Industrial City, shared insights into the diverse range of investment projects flourishing. These projects encompass industrial, service, and commercial activities, showcasing a robust and multifaceted economic landscape.

Of the 192 investment projects, industrial ventures dominate with 159 projects, occupying substantial areas within the industrial hub. These projects have also played a vital role in employment generation, providing jobs for 4,156 workers, with an Omanization rate of 38%, reflecting the commitment to local workforce integration.

A notable highlight is the recent investment contract signed for a project focused on producing digital currencies, aligning with the government’s strategic emphasis on digital transformation. Eng. Al Balushi elaborated on the project, indicating that its initial phase will cover an extensive area of 20,000 square meters, with foreign investments totalling RO 80 million.
