Muscat – The inaugural phase of the initiative, in collaboration with the Environment Authority, kicked off with the planting of trees in Samail Industrial City. Madayn, aims to gradually extend this initiative to all industrial cities under its purview.

Engineer Ibtisam Al Shanfari, Director of Environmental Affairs in the office of the Chief Operating Officer at Madayn, highlighted the significance of this initiative. She emphasized that it reflects Madayn’s ongoing commitment to fostering a conducive environment for both living and working. Furthermore, the initiative aligns with national objectives to preserve the environment and supports efforts towards achieving zero net emissions by 2050.
