MUSCAT : The Czech tactician takes over the reins from Croatian Branko Ivankovic. Jaroslav Šilhavý, a decorated figure in European football, brings a wealth of experience to the Omani dugout. Most notably, he led the Czech Republic national team to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020, their best performance in the tournament since 2004. Additionally, he boasts successful stints managing clubs like Slavia Prague, Sparta Prague, and Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic.
