MALAYSIA : Debuting at the Malaysian circuit, Al Harthy left an indelible mark, securing pole position in the opening race of the championship. Steering the LMP2 through treacherous conditions, Al Harthy manoeuvred the car admirably during his stint, initially clinching third place but valiantly defending their position amidst intense competition. Daily Traz and Mazepin took over, showcasing exceptional driving skills to eventually claim victory, marking Al Harthy’s successful transition from GT3 endurance cars to the LMP2 class in this championship.
The second race mirrored the intensity of the first, with Al Harthy starting from fifth place and swiftly surging through the ranks. In a display of strategic driving, Al Harthy navigated through competitors, passing cars precisely. Despite an eventual second-place finish, marred slightly by a prolonged safety car intervention, Al Harthy expressed immense satisfaction with the team’s performance, securing top standings in the championship and drivers’ rankings with 43 points.
The championship action is set to resume in February at the Dubai Autodrome, followed by races at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, promising more adrenaline-fueled racing drama on the horizon.
