BENGALURU : The notices, directed towards Byju’s founder, Byju Raveendran and its parent company, Think & Learn Pvt Ltd, follows earlier searches and seizures conducted at three Bengaluru premises in connection to Raveendran and his firm, ‘Think & Learn Private Limited,’ in a case related to FEMA in May, where incriminating documents and digital data were reportedly discovered. Amidst these allegations, Byju’s has faced several challenges, including valuation cuts by investors, resignations from auditors and board members, and ongoing negotiations for a $1.2 billion loan repayment. Despite these setbacks, the firm, backed by investors such as General Atlantic, Prosus, and Blackrock, recently disclosed its fiscal 2021-22 results after a prolonged delay.
