Muscat – As per the statement, all passengers were provided with refreshments, based on available resources, at the airport.
“After 5 hours had passed, as per protocol, the passengers were provided with accommodation. There was a several-hour delay at immigration; however, all passengers have been safely accommodated in nearby hotels.
“A number of passengers have already been connected to alternative flights and we are working on arranging flights for the remaining passengers as soon as possible,” said the Oman Air statement, which also noted that the safety and comfort of passengers is its utmost priority at all times.
