Muscat: The Park, located in the Sahel Attin area in Salalah, is spread over an estimated 40,000 square metres. The formal launch last evening was attended His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, who toured the area along with H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Head of Dhofar Municipality and a number of officials.
The project consists of three phases: the first is the integrated water park with all its facilities; the second phase will witness the establishment of a miniature zoo and the third the establishment of a park for recreational games.
The project offers visitors a range of different activities and events, and is managed by Al Naseem Group of Companies, which specializes in managing and operating parks, gardens and their various facilities, targeting different age groups, starting from two years onwards.
Dr. Musab bin Salem Al Hinai, CEO of Al Naseem Group of Companies, said that the implementation of the project comes within the framework of the group’s interest in contributing to the tourism development in the Dhofar Governorate, pointing to the importance of the Water Park in enhancing revenues and creating job opportunities for Omanis.
