It is no secret today that writers are more important than many other professions; if writers did not exist, the world would be dark and caged. In general, writers are responsible for distinguishing between light and darkness, between right and wrong.

Many people with no backbone turn to writers for their direction because they can easily get their hands on the books that these writers write.

Writers shine a spotlight on the truth because they know it better than ordinary people. If those writers were not around, what would the world be like? They are like the stars of the planet, don’t you think? When you write or think to write, you are escaping mankind from the cruel world and society we live in.

The famous Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto Rama once said, “I write what I see”. Since he spoke out against corruption in society, he was referred to as a man of truth. The motivation behind his writing was wine and pen. He wasn’t afraid to describe society the way he saw it. He had to tell the truth, as he said in most of his works, although he was heavily criticized for the language he used in his writing.

Gibran Khalil Gibran, a Lebanese-American writer, illuminated the dark society of his time through his writings. He is best known for his book, The Prophet. In his writing, he once stated that “Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky, we fell them down and turn them into paper, that we may record emptiness”.

Indeed, writing is not an easy task. When it comes to writing, it’s all about language, thinking, observing, describing scenes, and collecting vocabulary.

In their writing, writers encourage you to think and open up new possibilities, as well as try to discover yourself within yourself. If a society lacks creative writers, it can be considered shallow. In gatherings, writers’ work should be discussed.

In my opinion, Freedom Writers is one of the best English movies I have ever seen. This movie shows a teacher encouraging students to write about whatever they experience in life, in society, and at home. It’s just writing that she focuses on.
