MUSCAT– As part of encouraging and motivating members to contribute to the society’s development, Knowledge Oman, the leading knowledge-sharing platform in the Sultanate, has awarded its long-time serving distinguished team member, Tomy Bosco, with the “Lifetime Achievement Award”, recognizing his notable achievements over the past 14 consecutive years. The award was presented by the President of Knowledge Oman, Balqees Al Hassani, with the presence of the newly appointed chairwoman, Dr Yasmeen Al Bulushi, at a team gathering event.

“Tomy Bosco has been part of Knowledge Oman since the inception back in 2008. His quality contribution, professional collaboration with the multinational volunteer team, and constant support and leadership for the technical development of the platform is noteworthy. We are honored to award Tomy with the lifetime achievement award, being the oldest and most longest quality serving member in Knowledge Oman” said Balqees

Tomy Bosco said upon receiving the award, “I am thrilled and honored to be recognized for the community work I do, and for the country I hold close and dear to my heart. I will continue serving Knowledge Oman to my best ability and I thank all who put trust and belief in me.”

Tomy Bosco joined Knowledge Oman in 2008 as a member and has played an important role in the development of the technology of the platform since inception. Due to his contribution, Tomy was promoted as a moderator overseeing the discussion platforms and progressed to heading the overall technology that drives the platform’s engagement with the society today. Tomy is a graduate of bachelors with honors in computer engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, Master of Business Administration from University of Wales and Exercising Leadership, Organizational Leadership from Havard University. Currently, Tomy leads Nortal’s strategy and digital transformation powerhouse operations in Oman as its Partner, Business Area Director.
