MUSCAT: The Municipality stated on its Twitter account that negative practices of littering is harming the environment, with pictures taken from top of Al Jabal Bousher Street.
‘Cleanliness and maintaining the tourist facilities and sites is everyone’s responsibility, so let’s make sure to comply with them to avoid legal liability,’ it said.
As per the laws, a fine of OMR 100 will be imposed as penalty for throwing waste in public places, it added.
