MUSCAT: Arabian Gulf Automobiles and Equipment LLC (AGAE) has launched the luxury sedan Changan UNI-V in Oman. Further expanding the Changan auto’s luxury model range – the UNI series in Oman.

A spokesperson for AGAE said,The All-new UNI-V 2023 model has stunning exterior design, premium interiors, impressive performance and drive assistance technologies which will create superior owner experience. The UNI-V continues its family tradition of a borderless grille and adapts a more agile and accurate design to help the model feel much sportier. It has exterior features that make it unique including Panoramic Glass sunroof, Split and Auto LED Headlamps, ORVM – electrically folding and Hidden door handles.

All-new UNI-V has short overhang, long wheelbase and notchback design which creates the sporty feel of a luxury sport sedan. The wider front and rear wheel and longer axle length contributes to more agility for high-speed driving and stability.

Under the hood the UNI-V comes equipped with the Blue core 1.5 L turbocharged engine making 188 hp of power and a staggering 300Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission which powers the front drive system.

The tyre aspect ratio of 0.78 and the UNI-V wheel height which is half of the car height makes the car body look lowered and comparable that of a luxury sports sedan.

The All-new Changan UNI-V’s interior design with hidden air vents, integrated center buttons create a sense of simplicity and sporty, the bright colors center console, armrest and dual panels add excitement. In addition, the asymmetrical design in instrument cluster creates momentum and style.

The UNI-V adapts 3+1 Quadrapole screen layout which appears to be two screens, but which are interconnected, the Double ‘D’ design steering wheel looks distinctive of a sporty sedan.

All-new Changan UNI-V’s extraordinary interior design is very formidable. It has a comprehensive set of advanced safety features such as front airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags, BS +EBD+ ESP+TSC+HHC+HDC+TPMS, auto hold function, front and rear parking sensors, 360 ° Camera HD, 360 ° dashcam, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency brake and lane departure warning.

Infotainment attributes include 10 instrument cluster, 10.25” infotainment screen, Navigation, Voice Control Function, mirror link with Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, radio, Bluetooth, USB (front and rear) and eight speakers. It has comfort features such as electronic parking brake, keyless entry with push start button, remote engine start/stop, rear air outlet, paddle shifter, electric tailgate and rear seat centre headrest.
