MUSCAT: WhatsApp, at present, doesn’t allow users to access the same account on multiple devices. However, with the new ‘companion mode’ feature that is being rolled out, the same WhatsApp account could be used on four devices at the same time, report agencies.
Once users link their accounts to another phone, all their conversations will be synced and they will be able to message with their registered contacts, as if they were using their primary phone.
Users, however, will be able to use the beta version of this feature only if they are Android users. The beta version is available on 2.22.24.18 and has only been rolled out to some users.
