MUSCAT: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) & the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth are gearing to host the first edition of “Amad Duqm 22″ event, which will be hosted by the Zone from 25 November and to 3 December. It will be held on an area of 500,000 square metres and will include more than 30 youth activities in various fields such as culture, sports, innovation, technology, sustainability and entertainment. The event is expected to attract more than 20,000 people.
The event aims at enhancing the Zone’s presence as a prosperous modern city embracing art and innovation and youth projects.
“Amad Duqm 22″ event is a small experimental laboratory for the aspirations of the Omani youth, where design and implementation processes are assigned to selected creative Omani youth to create a vision that combines creativity, art and entertainment in a modernized manner that reviews challenges and opportunities for making a better world.

“Amad Duqm 22” is part of “Discover Duqm” campaign, which has been launched in 2021 and aims to highlight Duqm’s Special Economic Zone as a promising tourist and investment destination, with an integrated investment environment between diversified projects and business opportunities for innovative Oman youth projects.
